Well where do I start. Patty and the boys are so very accommodating… It was my first time and I was such a novice. Patty helped and guided me along the process of what I could and couldn’t do. After a multitude of changes and stuffing around ( by me ) we finally got the result I was after. The quality of the workmanship is second to none. When I picked it up I was overcome with sheer delight. It looked better that I imagined.

PS. A few technical issues , my fridge didn’t fit and I went into a panic mode.( Pss. I should mention that we were leaving for a 2 month trip the next day). Patty just said bring it in and I’ll sort it. And sort he did. 5:00 am in the morning…. Just a legend.

Just before he closed shop that evening , I realised my ladder wouldn’t fit on me RTT, once again Patty didn’t faulter and sorted it straight away.

Cannon Metal Fabrication { Paddy } and his team just completed a tray for our six-wheeler 79 series. We had this build quoted on by five well known fabricators, Paddy's quote was the best.

But that's not why we chose Cannon Metal Fabrication, the day we met Paddy and discussed the build we knew we would go with Paddy. He is young but has an old school head full of mannerism, respect and above all professionalism. Paddy is a man of his word and it’s easy to see he leads by example as his entire team exhibit the same qualities, every time you walk in the workshop everyone is busy but always find the time to say a quick G/Day, they are well dressed, well-spoken and show nothing but the right attitude towards clients.

Our build was involved with all the bells and whistles, and we were very particular re the quality and finish of it. Nothing we requested was a problem, Paddy guided us all the way and went above and beyond to create a finished product that we cannot fault. All materials and workmanship are the best we have seen, A true credit to Paddy and his team.

We were kept updated and very involved throughout the process; Paddy and his team always made you feel welcome and in good hands. Although we continually made changes and added extras along the way, Paddy kept the cost down and was more than fair, we are sure that he and the team did a lot at no charge. The build was completed on time, not one problem along the way and you could not get a better group of down to earth tradesmen to deal with. Give Cannon Metal Fabrication a go, we cannot recommend them highly enough. If we could give a Ten-star rating, we would.

After touring for 6 months, we can’t fault our Cannons custom made tray and canopy set up. We decided to go with Cannons for a few reasons: the ability to fully customise the build (even making changes a few days before picking up! Thanks Paddy); he provided an extremely competitive quote (cheaper than well-known companies in Cairns; and exceptional customer service (you couldn’t meet a nicer guy). The process was made simple, we dropped the car to Cannons, once the build was complete, he organised the fridge, electrics, paint and suspension for us.
